Sulaiman H. Sulaiman will join the Mission Health executive team as senior vice president and chief information officer on April 16. Sulaiman will assume the role from current CIO Arlo Jennings, who is retiring after 25 years of service.

Sulaiman is a veteran of information technology strategy and implementation. He will be responsible for upgrading Mission’s information technology infrastructure and implementing new technology processes.

Sulaiman most recently held a similar position with Cleveland Clinic as CIO at Sheikh Medical City in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Medical City, managed by Cleveland, consists of a 586-bed acute care hospital, a 125-bed behavioral sciences pavilion, an 88-bed rehabilitation center and 10 additional remote clinics. In that position, Sulaiman was responsible for the development of strategic initiatives concerning all facets of information technology and its systems. Prior to that role, Sulaiman held several positions in information technology within the Cleveland Clinic system in the United States, according to Mission.

Arlo Jennings, Mission’s current CIO, has been with Mission for 25 years and has been planning to retire later this year.
